Error Type 1 - With Internet Connection
Wizard.
Summary: Caused by low memory settings or corrupt Internet
Preferences.
Resolution:
Check memory settings for the system and the program itself.
- Select the Apple Menu, Control Panels, Memory Control
Panel. The cache size should be 512K.
- Select Mac HD, Open Microsoft Internet Applications.
Choose File and Get Info on the Internet Connection Wizard application.
The Minimum Size should be at least the same as the Suggested Size.
Preferred size should be double the Suggested Size.
- If changing the memory settings does not correct the
error trash the Internet Preferences
- Select the Mac HD, open System Folder and Select
Preferences.
- Inside the Preferences folder, trash the Internet
Preferences.
- Restart the Mac.
- Open Internet Explorer, then close Internet Explorer.
This will rebuild the Preferences.
- Run Internet Connection Wizard.
