How to Uninstall and Reinstall you Modem
Double click on the "My Computer" icon.
Double click on the "Control Panel" icon.
Double click on the "Modems" icon.
Select the modem and click on the "Remove" button.
Click on "OK".
Reboot the machine.
Once you reboot the computer should detect the modem during the booting process.
During this portion the computer may ask for the CD for the modem to install the proper drivers for the modem.
If it prompts you fro the CD insert it into the CD ROM.
Double click on the "My Computer" icon.
Double click on the "Control Panel" icon.
Double click on the "Modems" icon.
Check to see if the proper modem was detected. It should show up in the list of modems installed.
If the modem was not detected, click on the "Add" button.
In the "Install New Modem" Window click on "Next".
Let the computer try to detect the modem.
If the computer is unable to detect them modem select it from a list.
You will need the modem CD at this point.
Continue through the Modem Install Wizard.
