In Telnet

• Open a telnet session and log on.
• Type in "traceroute <web site>"
• Hit the Enter key.
• If you see any * * * this means that there is a delay in the path that can cause problems getting to a site.

Using a command prompt

• Click on <Start><Run>
• In the Open field type in "tracert <web address>"
• Hit the Enter key.
• If you see any * * * this means that there is a delay in the path that can cause problems getting to a site.
