Netscape Is Unable To Locate The Server. The Server Does
Not Have DNS Entry. Check The Server Name In The URL And Try Again.
Potential Causes:
- Incorrect spelling of the URL or it is outdated.
 - Incorrect Usrname or Password.
 - Wrong or missing DNS entries in the MacTCP or TCP/IP when trying to access
server.

 - Corrupt MacTCP or TCP/IP Preferences.

	- Rebuild TCP preferences.

 - Double click Mac HD, System Folder and drag MacTCP DNR
	to the Trash.

 - Double click the Preferences folder and drag MacTCPPrep, TCP/IP
(if present), and the Finder Preferences to the Trash.

 - Select Special, Empty Trash, Select Special, Restartfrom the Main
	Menu.

 - Then correct the settings in MacTCP
	or TCP/IP.

 - Restart the system and try again.

 - * If the Class setting in MacTCP Control Panel repeatedly switches
from "C" to "A" there may be a problem with the MacTCP. It is
recommended that Open Transport be installed, if possible. Apple
should be contacted for assistance with this.

 - MacTCP or Open Transport (TCP/IP) Extensions not enabled.

	- Check Extensions Manager, or Extensions folder. Make sure MacTCP,
or Open Transport (TCP/IP) is enabled.

 - Extension conflict.

	- Check Extensions Manager or Extensions folder for any fax or
	communications extensions.

 - Create a custom set of Extensions for dial software.

 - Or disable Global Fax, Fax Manager or other communications
	extensions.

 - Corrupt files in the Netscape Cache folder.

	- In Netscape select Options, Network Preferences then the Cache Tab.
Click on Clear Disk Cache Now.

 - If this doesn't work trash the files manually. Open the
Preferences folder, Netscape f folder, then the Cache f folder. Drag
the contents of the Cache f folder to the Trash. Empty Trash, restart
	the system.

 - In Netscape Communicator, open the Preferences folder, Netscape
Users folder, and then open the Usr Profile. Drag the Cache f to the
Trash. Empty Trash and restart the system.

 - Networking software is corrupt.

	- In FreePPP Setup on the General tab, "Allow applications to open
connection" is checked. Double click the Service Provider Software
and immediately a "DNS" error occurs, or "Unable to create a
Network Socket connection" error appears prior to FreePPP launching.

 - Contact Apple at 1-800-SOS-Apple to have a clean install of the OS.
