How to run Scandisk

• Double click on the My Computer icon
• Right mose button click on the C: drive, and select Properties.
• Click on the Tools tab
• Under "Error-checking status" Click on the "Check Now" button.
• Make sure that the C: drive is selected. Under type of test select "Standard". Check "Automatically fix errors"
• Click on "Start".
• If Scandisk reports any errors that it could not fix contact the computer manufacturer or your computer vendor.
